Admissions Policy
A copy of our Admissions Policy and Criteria can be found on our Policies Page. Paper copies of information and policies are available on request, for free, from the school office. Under the Education Act 1996, the governing body is required to admit a child with a statement of Special Educational Needs that names the school. In the event of over-subscription, places will be allocated using the following criteria in the order given;
- Looked After Children
- Children living in the priority admissions area with a sibling attending the school
- Children living outside the priority admissions area with a sibling attending the school
- Other children living in the priority admissions area
- Remaining applications.
In the event of over-subscription within any of the above criteria, priority will be determined by straight line distance from home to school, those living closest being given highest priority.
