Bardfield have been lucky enough to be awarded some funding from the London Marathon Foundation (LMF) in order to develop our playground markings for the Daily Mile. This is all part of a year long push on raising the profile of physical activity in our school. Our bright and colourful new track was opened during a fabulous launch ceremony, attended by members of the LMF, their mascot and also Sam King who is an Ultra Marathon runner. The children loved having the opportunity to run alongside such an incredible athlete. A fabulous event!
